This month, I released Bone Up, an RPG resource to help gamers be funnier during gaming sessions.
Designed for GMs and usable by players, it’s written for a mature audience, but at least 60% of the jokes should be acceptable and understandable for gamers of any age. It does require a decent grasp of English and some familiarity with Western/American culture. Blame the author.
It was difficult to price. Roughly 60 pages of solid text in an A5 layout PDF. With the planned art, it would have gone to 80 pages. I settled on $20, but after a few conversations with online folks, I dropped it back to $10. Steep? There are plenty of zines that cost way more per word. And plenty of those are far less entertaining and inspiring.
Don't worry, though. I'll be publishing much cheaper (and free) tools that will convince folks that Bone Up is worth the price.
